Try Something New!

This is a new section for me, I am trying something new and it is engaging for me. I know my dogs like to try new things too, whether it is a walk somewhere that they have never been before, a new trick, or a new treat, just to name a few. You can invest in a learning experience for your pup that you will both enjoy (a class or lesson) or you set up a corner of your yard where you change the smells and things to investigate often (sheep's wool, antlers, treats under a bucket, etc.). You can bring your dog on outings (weather dependent), my young dog is so excited to go downtown or into a store for a quick chore. This is also a great opportunity to work on his manners.

However, you need to know your dog, please do not put your dog in any uncomfortable situations. All new experiences are in the eye of the beholder, one dog might love meeting new people on a walk, where as another might find it stressful.

The possibilities are endless...so go have fun!!
